I think it's a work in progress.īut for trips, I just sit in the car beforehand and plot out my destinations with voice commands and/or keypad. ![]() There is a limited facility to search for waypoints and load them "over the air" from HondaLink, but I have found it buggy and frustrating. I know of no way to do that with this built-in, which is very disappointing. Yeah, I miss the ability to load waypoints into the device from Base Camp. It's posted on a site devoted to Honda/Garmin OEM Nav systems. I don't trust this navigation system in my new Pilot so I'm going to continue using Google Maps from my Android smart phone for now.įor the 2016 Pilot built-in Nav, Garmin promises free annual updates for 5 years, presumably with the option to pay for updates after that. Am I missing something? Has anyone had success with this? The Base Camp PC software did work as it's designed to and it even recognized my Navigator USB stick and saved the newly created Trip route file to it, but the Pilot's Navigator doesn't see my Base Camp files on the USB stick.
